 The Americans with Disability act was enacted in 1990 by the Federal Government to protect people with disabilities. It requires businesses to make a reasonable attempt at making their place of business accessible to everyone. One way is to provide power assisted automatic door operators on at least one entrance. Heartland Glass has taken steps to provide their customers with the product and knowledge to do this. We have partnered with the leader in the door hardware industry, Ingersoll Rand (LCN & Dor-O-Matic operators) to provide our customers with the best quality and the widest selection of products to choose from. In addition, we have five members of our staff that are licensed by the State of Minnesota as Power Limited Technicians. By completing this training and also training provided by Ingersoll Rand, we offer our customers some of the most knowledgeable technicians in the industry. |
